IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Intelligence Agency is defined as a special unit or team responsible for interpreting and gathering  information about their enemy. Generally every country has its own intelligence agencies which work for their country. Today, here, i'm going to share some information about the top 05 ranked  intelligence agencies of the world.

1- CIA:

CIA stands for Central Intelligence Agency. It is the agency of United States of America and was founded in the year 1947.

2- MI6:

MI6 stands for "Military Intelligence" and is formally known as Secret Intelligence Service. It is working for the United Kingdom and was formed just before World War 1.

3- GRU:

GRU is known as "Main Intelligence Directorate". Its located in Russia and was formed in 1918. After the fall of USSR it remained unaffected, continued working and became so important for their country.

4- DGSE:

It is the main intelligence agency of France and is known as "Direction Generale de la Securite Exterieure". It was formed in 1982 replacing the older service of France (SDECE) and was quickly given the job of gathering intelligence.

5- ISI:

ISI is the main intelligence service of Pakistan. It stands for Inter Services Intelligence. It was made by Pakistani Government after the independence in the year 1948. The main reason for its creation is the weak performance of intelligence sharing between the inter services (Army, Navy & Air Force) in Indo-Pak war. After 9/11 attack it has been working with CIA to handle Al-Qaeda and Taliban troops. ISI is so famous for their invisible fashion of working.

INFORMATION

NATO SUPPLY

NATO stands for North Atlantic Treaty Organization. It is an inter government military force of different countries based on North Atlantic Treaty which was signed on April 4th 1949.

Currently NATO's Secretary General is Sir Andres Fogh Rasmussen. Mainly NATO is working now a days in Afghanistan through gateway of Pakistan. Pakistan land is the link to provide them their needed supply. But due to November Drone attacks by NATO in Pakistan, Pakistan banned the supply route to Afghanistan. This stoppage was hurting Americans a lot as 80 - 85 % supply of NATO was delivering through Pakistan route thereby saving a lot of extra expense. NATO supply through Pakistan was full filling the needs of more than 1 lac 40 thousand soldiers, so Americans compelled Pakistan to open the supply route. Pakistan put some demands  to Americans in order to open the supply. Those demands are as follows:
  • NATO will stop the DRONE attacks in Pakistan territory.
  • Pakistan demanded US 5000 $ on each truck carrying NATO supply.
  • Pakistan demanded the release of Dr. Afiya Saddique.
  • American's apology on November attacks.

Most of the demands were fulfilled, however, release demand of Afiya was not fulfilled. NATO supply route through Pakistan remained close for 7 to 8 months and was opened when Americans apologized on November attacks. Following is given the route map through Pakistan.

SHORT SUMMARY

WORLD WAR - I

* World War I, one of the greatest war of the history started on 28th of July in 1914 when Austria & Hungary declared a joint war on Serbia.

* This war continued almost more than 4 years and lasted on 11th of November in 1918.

* This war was mainly fought between Germany with its alloy countries (Austria-Hungary, Ottoman Empire Turkey, Bulgaria) & France with its alloy countries (Great Britain, Russia, USA, Serbia)

* Germany, Great Britain, Russia & France were soon into this war as these countries were involved in some treaties & pacts that made them to defend certain other nations.

* In December 1917 Russians withdrawn because of some reasons including shortage of food, supply and other resources. Moreover mainly the cause was the trouble in their own country which resulted to Russian Revolution.

* A civil war was started in Russia and Russia could not bear any more loss as it was to them during this World War I.

* Russia's withdrawal allowed Germany and its alliance countries to get themselves in strong position and to pull the trigger on Western states especially Britishers and France.

* Despite of this Germany with its alloy countries were unable to hold themselves in facing some powerful counties and got an embarrassing defeat in this war by USA.

* USA won this war and set the League of Nation in the year 1919. League of Nation is the precursor to United Nations.

* This war ended with the loss of 10 million lives of the soldiers from different countries. In addition to it economical damage is also done that is far far away from our imaginations.

* After this dreadful war "Treaty Of  Versailles" was signed. The major objective of this treaty was to set League of Nations & secondly to punish Germany as they went against USA in the war.

* The impact of this war, its painful results and the damage by it lasted for several years after the war.
